Cliff LyleSaw this question in another thread. Looks like the Stainless short action LH A-Bolts were limited in production.
Sounds like one you should snag if it's available.

mlfgunsIt is a push feed action and has been around for a while I believe the mid 80's. $550-650 depending on condition and accessories. Tika of Finland also produces a similar rifle.

Cliff LyleThe Tikka uses one action length and blocks in the magazine to properly establish placement for long action rounds or short action rounds.
The A-Bolt is a true short action.

scott f.If you look closely you'll see that the action is a true short action but browning used an oversized barrel nut in order to use the long action left hand synthetic stock. They didn't make a real left hand short action stock. The action with the oversized barrel nut is as long and as heavy as a standard action. I have a 7mm-08 but after I figured out what the gun really was, it lost some of it's luster.

scott f.I was refering only to the limited run in the mid 90's of the stainless short action calibers. The guns are very limited but are not exactly what everyone thinks they are.

Nanook 450I have a Browning A-Bolt 325 WSM with a wood stock that is a true short action stock. It's great for mountain hunts as it light and short, but recoil was heavy so I put a break on it. Sent it to Rogar and had it NP 3 treated. Wears a Leupold VXL 4.5 x 14 scope. Tack driver.
