I know CZ used MRC actions to make right hand short action rifles but when did they ever make a leftie or is this a new offering?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Yes MRC made the LH rifles too. They got a lot of bad press for poor quality and I believe that I read somewhere that CZ will not warranty this rifle any longer.

I have a 300 WSM and would like to add a quality 270 WSM. These calibers certaintly offer the average shooter the possibility to build a reasonably lightweight hunting rifle for an excellent price.
But, if what Roscoe says is true then I would have to pass on this one.

I've got one of the CZ Model 3's in 270 WSM. As far as my rifle goes, there's been zero problems with it. It really likes the 150 gr. Ballistic Silvertip. The stock on mine is also a great looker.
My only complaint is that the recoil pad looks awful. A really poor job of trimming/grinding.
Too bad they didn't take the idea further and gives a lighter weight rifle in 7x57.

Not sure they are popular because they are "superior" to what you already own.
TFor me anyhow, they are superior because I can have a rifle built for one and the shorter action weighs about 4-5 ounces less than an 06 sized action.
Thats a lot when trying to build up a low cost semi lightweight rifle. I certaintly do not think the 300 WSM is better than the 300 WM. It just results in a smaller lighter package
