i was setting this up for myself but have decided to quit building and start using.

it is a brand new charles daly action. it has a timney trigger added. i found a steel hinged floorplate/triggerguard assembly from a parker hale with an inside the bow release and added it. it has a gentry safety installed by them with the trigger so it works as it is supposed to. it is $750.00 shipped to your ffl. it will go to auction on 7/22

yes to all of the questions. it is a true left handed mauser in a long action with a standard (.473) bolt face and a long claw extractor.

These are GREAT actions for us lefties! I have 2. The first one was turned into this Whelen.

i bought several in the long action and the mini action when daly lost out to remington, as i knew remington would not sell just actions. they were on the shelf waiting for a "to it" project. i decides to start getting rid of some of this stuff and use the ones i have completed more.

sorry can't help you out at this time. i'm still in a quandry as what to do with the one i have. i already fitted an anderson (gunmaker) trigger gaurd assembly to it.

where do I get that bottom metal and what does it cost?

when mr. anderson was making them i ordered two sets just to get over his startup number so he would make them. if i remember correctly they were two hundred fifty dollars apiece. i don't remember if i sold the other one or still have it. i will look for you if your interested.

would love to have it. let me know. I have been trying to get on blackburns website and no luck. How about his trigger is that a good one to use instead of Timney? how about front and rear sights? can you pm me?

Thank you. Gary Stiles did the metal work & stock work. I have another Left hand mauser with him now. It will be a 7x57. If I can find another Left hand zastava I have plans for it as well
