Ken Clinenew Tikka left hand offering
Tikka announced the Sporter is available in left hand. But, it's doubtful that Beretta will import it to the US.

FjoldOne of my friends shoots a righty in 308 at our 1,000 yard matches. It's pretty nice.

medvedshot a .308 righty and i certainly think about one soon ...
21 January 2012, 17:17
Cliff LyleDon't know why but Beretta has not been working much to become a friend of lefty's here in the US...
21 January 2012, 18:57
Ken ClineThey don't import half the stuff Tikka is making. Just noticed they don't even show the right hand version of this one on their site.
21 January 2012, 21:56
medvedi ve seen some US guys able to get non imported Tikka or Sako rifles troughout Beretta USA but they asked and paid so it can be done but not only for one but buying some ...
Stoeger Canada (importer of the Tikka and Sako) is becoming the same and it s getting harder to get a specific model but worth the wait ...

Cliff LyleI am looking into what it will take for me to have a LH varmint T3 imported.
Lots of paperwork, forms and overseas conversations. I have contacts in Sweden and Finland who are investigating what is required on their end and am hopeful this can be pulled off.
02 February 2012, 06:23
Ken ClineCliff,
If you get the specifics and it can be done, post details please!!!!
03 February 2012, 00:03
Cliff LyleWill do Ken.

03 February 2012, 08:11
Ken ClineThen the hard part will be deciding on caliber. So many to choose from, anything from a true varminter to a beanfield big game gun in that list
05 February 2012, 07:20
Cliff LyleI will begin with the 204 varmint.
16 February 2012, 23:21
2BarrelsIIRC the Beretta reps that calls on the local shop said that they were offering a 'program' this year and that several of the LH Tikkas (Hunters) would be available thru Beretta Trident dealers. He recommended talking to EuroOptics and/or Kjergard Sports in MN.
17 February 2012, 19:32
Cliff Lylegood information. i will call Alex at Eurooptics.
27 February 2012, 03:43
Cliff LyleI have discovered that it is possible to import a LH Varmint rifle from Tikka in Finland. I have also discovered it will cost upwards of $2,000 to do this. I'm not sure I want to go this route.
Thoughts?
27 February 2012, 05:37
Ken Clineget a list of guys together to repeatedly slam Beretta with emails and calls requesting an importation of them. I'll be onboard.
28 February 2012, 03:10
Cliff LyleGood idea.
29 February 2012, 08:50
2BarrelsThis one will be available in August, courtesy of Alex @ EuroOptics.
Tikka T3 9.3x62mm I'm guessing that other calibers in the LH T3 Hunter will also be available.
29 February 2012, 15:53
Cliff LyleI have likely changed my direction with regards to importing a LH T3 Varmint in .204 Ruger.
I will have a T3 Synthetic rebarreled to .204 and make my own varmint rifle out of it. Import costs were too great for what use it would receive.
I have, instead, placed on order with Alex at EuroOptic, a LH Hunter in .260 Remington. It will be here in August. I also placed on order the same rifle in .223 to replace the synthetic that is being used as a donor rifle to create the varmint.
August will be a great month.
09 March 2012, 10:47
megsdadPlaced my order with Brad for a LH Tikka T3 Sporter in .223.
15 October 2012, 09:01
megsdadCancelled my order and promptly received my deposit refund. Couldn't wait any longer.
16 October 2012, 05:18
Cliff LyleI'm still waiting on the LH Tikka hunters to arrive in the US. I am having some doubts they will ever arrive.
16 October 2012, 08:43
medvedif someone is serious about getting a LH tikka not offered on the US market try Clay @ prophet river (780) 875-0575 ....
he brings me two rifles from the US side and can do the other way ... there is a cost but when you want something ....
all the best.
16 October 2012, 20:16
coniferI have a question.....I bought a LH Tikka stainless 243 ....never fired it.....don't know if I will ever get to it.....also bought a ton of ammo....is there any interest in such a rifle?.....I love it....but how many rifle can I own???.....
Anyhow....please advise me on this.
Thanks
Alex

Patience is often a virtue.
Two guys I work with just got LH T3s in .204 Ruger.
20 October 2012, 17:32
Cliff LyleTrue. And through patience, I'll pick up my new LH 260 Rem Monday.
24 October 2012, 04:20
Cliff LylePicked up my new T3 Hunter today. I'm impressed. I must say, comparing it to the synthetic T3's I have, this is much, much better in the hand. I'm not sure how many LH 260 Rem's have been imported to the US but I will tell you this one is going to get a workout.

24 October 2012, 08:27
ChopperGuyJust don't work it out too much as when you tire of it, it may come my way as so many others have gone back and forth between us!

Cliff LyleI have a feeling that when you see this one at deer camp, you will want it to take a long ride in the Tundra when you leave...there will be vehicle searches upon leaving the ranch.

Ken, has there been any word on the importation of the LH sporter?
05 November 2012, 05:19
Vol717There are plenty of LH Tikkas in stock at a
\t least two of my distributors. I don't need it, but a stainless .30/06 would be nice. But then I havene't shot the LH .243 I have in two years.

Cliff LyleMy Tikka T3 Hunter 223 1-8" twist is on its way to my FFL. I should have it by Monday or so.
This will be the stablemate to the 260 received a week or so ago.
Yeah, I'm excited.
