I'm interested. What price do you expect?

"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." Do they still make the .22-250 rifles? How about the actions with the .473" bolt face?

I don’t know prices yet. Zastava will make anything they are capable of as long as I order at least 40 identical items. Anyone need 40 22-250s? I had a lefty 22-250 once and wanted to make a 250 Savage on the Receiver. There isn’t enough length in the magazine for the loaded cartridge. The 25 caliber Bullets are enough longer than the 22 calibers that it wouldn’t fit.

In 2012 on the original Zastava LH purchase. I got a model 70 in .22-250. I was hoping the action was smaller and the right size for the caliber. It turned out to be the same size as the .30-06. It had a metal block tack welded to shorten the magazine well. I removed the barrel and block, and installed a 798 LH .30-06 barrel. Now I have two ought six's.
The model 85 Zastava is a push feed action designed for the smaller calibers, such as the 7.62x39mm. It is a more appropriate size for the .22-250, but have not seen any made.

Are short actions being used for short action calibers? Or is Zastava using one size action for all calibers?

The model 85 is for shorter calibers. The .222, .222Rem. Mag.. .223, .22-250. 7.62x39mm. All one size action.
The model 70 is also a one size action similar to the Win. M70. from .22-250 to .458WM

Darn! I was hoping to make a .250 Savage out of it, or a shortened .243. Such is life and I must dream on.

I feel your frustration on the .250. I had a left hand mini action some years ago and tried my darndest to fit the .250 into it. 22-250 is pushing it a bit. The .250 bullet just makes the overall cartridge too long.

But if it helps any, the left hand Mini Mausers in 7.62X39 have cleared customs and are sitting in my broker's warehouse waiting on me to pick them up.
