grampygtikka 595
I have a problem that maybe somebody can give me some ideas. I have 2 tikka 595's in 7mm-08. And I don't need 2. What I would like to do is rebarrel but I assume that The only options are standard short action calibers. I have also have one in 22-250 so that is out. I live in maine and I am a dedicated deer hunter. I don't need another deer cal but there's alot I don't need. If I ever get a moose permit I want something like a 7mm mag. I don't think that the 595 can be converted to any of the short mags. So any ideas, thoughts, or maybe a good suggestion. I am willing to make a trade maybe for a 695 left hand of course. Thanks for letting me babble Rick

SnowwolfeNo brainer, go with the .358 Win and you will have your moose rifle as well.

Greg KEither the 338 Federal or the 358 Win would be logical choices.

sam308If you would like to get rid of one of those 7-08s let me know. I have a 595 in 22-250 that I just love. Be happy to take one off your hands.
