CLK320New Custom Shop Remington
I just got my copy of the Feb. Guns and Ammo, and there is an article by Wayne van Zwoll about a new line of Remington Custom Shop Rifles, the 40-XH Hunter and the 40-XTi. The article states they are (or will be) avalable left-handed.

FjoldIt's nice to see the manufacturers offering more options.
On the back page of the Savage catalog they say that if you are interested in a combination of stock components (including lefties) call their number and for a small fee they will assemble a gun to your spec.

I heard the same thing from the Savage factory people at last year's NRA meetings. They don't publicize it very much, but it's nice to know you can lightly alter factory-made rifles for not a lot of cash.

CLK320There is a new Custom Shop Remington on there web-page, a 700 North American Custom. My next question is, with a $2850-$3070 retail price, what could one realisticly buy one for, and are they woth the price. I paid $2500 for my High Tech Custom, and it was very worth the money, as it shoots sub 1/2 MOA all day long. Will a Remmy Custom Shop do that? All that said, thumbs up to Remington for any new lefty.
