My Re-worked Zastava Lefty 458 Win Mag
Here's what the gun looks like with the new barrel, sight, barrel band and the stock cleaned up.

Anyway it matters not, because my experience always has been that of---- a loss of snot and enamel on both sides of the 458 Win----

Looks nice, how does it shoot? I was tempted to buy one in .375.

Why the rebarrel? My lefty 375H&H has as nice a barrel as you will ever see, and will stay at or under 3/4" at a hundred if you do your part.

The wood was a bit rough, but came around nicely with a bit of linseed oil. If I were to change anything on mine it would be the stock, but the metalwork on mine is first rate.

I didn't like how it balanced with that lightweight barrel. The balance point was almost at the grip. Big Grin I wanted it to match weight wise to my Winchester 375 H&H which has a .720" diameter barrel at the muzzle.

I haven't got to shoot it yet, I got it back from John and had to leave for New Zealand the next weekend. I'm typing this post from the lounge in the Auckland airport on my way home.
