Marioa couple of days in Norfolk
thanks to Alex Hinkins of
http://www.wings-hunting.co.uk/ - mi friend on FB - I hunted a couple of days close to Norfolk (UK)at the beginning of the month.
Taken two foxes
and a nice Muntjac
I was in the beautiful Gunton arms a pub with few rooms inside the Gunton park- 1000 acres fenced with a lot of semi- wild animals. Many great trophies there: red stag, sika, fallow.

MarioI rented the gun from the guide: a heavy barrell tikka longa range cal 243 winch with suppressor. Definitely too heavy.

CamoManJInteresting...
It looks like the park needs a bit of thinning the herd, suppressed shots would easily do the job.
Did you call that fox in or target of opportunity?

Mariothe animals in the park are killed for meat and horns.
Yes the fox were called.

safari-lawyerNice to see. I've stayed in that B&B, toured the park, etc. Never got a muntjac, but I shot a major water deer.

MarioWill, seems easy but take small animals like Muntjac and CWD it is not...

swsWell done on a nice Muntjac.
I'm surprised you didnt try for a CWD whilst here. Of the two you certainly got (in my book anyway) the more fun of the two to stalk. They are a great little deer.

Mariosws, you have reason. In fact I tried. Unfortunately I have not seen one...
