this is the report about my hunt in late November- early December in the Baranof Island with Baranof expeditions. As you can see from the photos the snow was absent so the mountain goat were impossible to reach. We hunted hard, walking 5/6 hours a day, but was no possible to approach one. We got instead a couple of nice deer, mine after a long stalk.

Sorry about the goat. Very unusual to not have snow on the mountains there at that time of year. Amazing spread of antlers on the deer.
