Re: BEAR AND MOOSE IN B.C.
I'd be interested in your experience with spot-and-stalk black bears. I'm signed up for such a hunt in the Kootenay region next June, and I'd love to hear from anyone with such experience.

The spot and stalk was exciting. We would glass from logging roads and then move in closer for a look. The guide would tell us if it was a shooter or not. Then we would stalk in closer if possible. I had to climb part way up a steep mountain to get a 160 yard shot,at a steep angle. Other times we saw bears next to the roads eating grass. We saw an average of 6 bears a day.

Mac, I'm planning another spring bear hunt with Dennis also. Hoping to get a color phase bear. Have been talking to Greg R. about another safari too. I like to go on 3 or 4 hunts a year.

Fine choice of firearms Cole!
The perfect picks for the game you hunted!
Some other choices could have been as good, but none better.
Wish more hunters think your way.
