Maxxalberta antelope hunt
I just got back from my first ever antelope hunt with Silver Sage outfitters in Brooks Alberta. I was fortunate to take this monster the first morning. Unfortunatley the bullet went through him, and because I shot when his head was turned, it hit him through the nose.

505 gibbsforgive my ignorance, I didn't even know they hunted pronghorn that far north. Congratulations.

jjbullThat's a really nice looking antelope; congratulations.
A new cape shouldn't be hard to find at all.

DesertRamNice goat! Too bad about the nose. If you're going to shoulder mount him, you should be able to get a replacement cape fairly easily (as stated). I just gave one to my taxidermist in exchange for him doing a Euro mount of the goat my wife killed a couple weeks ago. They're out there.

Big Game HunterAlberta has some huge goats. I shot the #13 SCI in the world at that time, (2001) with a bow in S.E. Alberta.
We also killed the #5 SCI in that same trip.

Calgary GuyNice goat. And thanks for coming up here.
Unfortunately, I think you will see a drastic drop in outfitter tags next year. I believe that the tags will be reviewed this winter/spring and adjusted. In some WMU's outfitters have far more tags than residents can get. They are suppose to be eligible for about 10% and in fact they have a lot more than that.
Come back soon, our Mule deer are also outstanding.

Calgary GuySorry, I cant edit. I dont believe outfitters have any more tags than residents. But I do know we took a 90% (Some units) drop in tags and the outfitters took a 0% drop this year
