Except under certain conditions, it is illegal for US citizens to travel to Cuba (more correctly, it is illegal for US citizens to spend money there). However, you would be surprised at how may Americans visit Cuba each year. From what I have learned, most do it via Mexico or Canada, although, one of my neighbors went earlier this year via Jamaica. I would love to go and take advantage of their reported great bone fishing.
