I met Sam in Kodiak while on a bear hunt myself.

The guide I went with spoke very highly of him and that told me a lot.

The Rohrer's have a very good reputation.

I'd also recommend Jake Jefferson, and Paul Chervenak. The Rohrer's have a good area for sure.

Just my .02, good luck.

Wasn't trying to rub it in, but I hear they are one of the best. I wanted to book another brown bear hunt on the peninsula in 14, but I understand I can't go back for 4 years after. Sounds like it is time to start planning Kamchatka.

I didn't know it when I booked, but Dick and I will be sharing a camp in Kyrgyzstan for Hume/MP argali this fall. Looking forward to it.
