Another great hunt with some fantastic veterans this spring. Both Jake Whipkey and JJ Guerrero were in BC for the first time. JJ got a great boar after hiking in quite a ways through a lot of blowdown. With both legs missing it was a tough go, holding on to my son Colton's shoulder for most of the walk in and out.
Great bear for a great guy.
Jake near did pull the trigger as he was looking for a color phase bear and the dogs never did find one that fit the bill. Jake is one of the original associates that started with WWIAF and has donated his time since 2008.
Here are a few photos showing what went on this year. More than a few laughs had by all.
