most of the time i hunted in a restrictive are only shotguns permitted i used a remigton semiauto open sigths and a remigton 870 with a scope all my shoots where running at a distance of 30mts 40mts 130mts 25mts 15mts.i used slugs in another area i hunted with a remington 7003006.juan

I know of two outfitters that will guarantee you bear- One on Vancouver Island (2 bear limit-spot & stalk); other in Alberta (2 bear limit-bait hunt).

IndyTwo very good outfitters you could contact are Atcheson's and Cabela's. Google them up on the web. I have been on hunts with both of them.

Juanpozzi and Indy- watch out- Both Cabela's and Atcheson's are NOT outfitters, but rather they are booking agents for the outfitting industry.
They may be good, but they are not the actual company that takes you out hunting on their lands. You need to ensure that they have accurate, up to date info on the actual outfitters etc...
As always, check references.
