ElCaballeroHog Hunt Cedar Ridge Farms
I just went on a russian Boar hunt here in MO at
Cedar Ridge Farms. Some friends and I decided we wanted a little fun deal this fall so we decided on a fenced hog hunt. We figured three days of fooling around and shooting a pig would be easy and fun. It was fun but I had no idea that I was going to actually have to hunt.
We sat in stands the first day (no feeders). Second day we were in the stands in the morning and then walked. Finally saw a hog and a buddy got one. Day three we sat again till there was good light and started walking again. About 11:00 A.M. I finally got mine. I spooked him out of a brush pile and shot him at 5 yards! We went back out and another buddy got his on the run.
Seth Belstle was good to work with and treated us right. The accomadations are top notch and it is as close to a hunt as you can get inside a fence! No hogs under 200 pounds and they are not pets.
Here is a few picts:

Seth also offers non-fenced Deer and Turkey hunts.

ElCaballeroThe rifle is a Whitworth 375 H&H. I only had it a week before I took it hunting. I really like the way it feels.

D99I was wondering about that place, it's a hell of a lot closer to Casper, Wyoming when I am on vacation than Texas is.

300 acres. Doesn't seem like much until you try to hunt it. 80% is thick brush.
