something different.......Falconry
Hi all,

I love hunting with my rifle, but another very big passion of mine is hunting with my falcons. I know it is not big game hunting in normal ways, but trus me it is big game for a smallish falcon.
My female weight about 620gram, and I have hunted pheasant cocks with her that weighed 1500gram.

I hope you enjoy.

thank you all.

Average lifespan is about 12-20years, and you can hunt them the whole time. I know of a falconer that still hunts with his falcon that is 23 years old. The bigger bird like eagles get much older.

Fantastic, I wish I had the time to devote to a bird of prey. How often do you fly her?

Do you still have your harris hawk?

in hunting season I fly her almost every day, at least 3-4 times a week. -But also depends on weather, I tend to go out on good weather days, as this stimulates her for the very high pitches and good flights.
