Romania used to be my spot for big european brown bears. Unfortunatly I can't see Romania opening up soon.
Croatia is an option. Although pricing is fair, the bears are relatively small and mostly nocturnal.

Estonia has turned out to be a fair option and we were able to take big bears. This is a hunt over bait.

The hunt for bear are only in fall (August to October).
Succesrate is +90%.

Moose hunts are done in September and can be combined with bear.

I can offer you two packages:

5 day hunt / 6 nights including a bear with no limit 8750€ (6500€ refund if bear is not taken) ~ $9,400 (Exchange rate €/$ 1,07)

7 day hunt / 8 nights including a bear and a Moose with no limit 13000€ (6500€ refund if bear is not taken; 3500€ refund if moose is not taken) ~ $13,950 (Exchange rate €/$ 1,07)

In addition you can hunt Raccondog, Badger, Wild boar, red stag.

Looks like all pics on bears are taken during the dark hours. Is this a still hunt over bait during the night or what is the hunting method for bear?

Yes the quality of animals is great and it's a well organized hunt with great logistics.

Trophy moose are mostly hunted by calling and walk and stalk. Moose dogs can be used also to bay dogs which is the traditional way of hunting.

Moose in general are hunted with moose dogs in a kind of driven hunt.

We weight the animals in kilogram. 313kg is about 690lbs.


I still have room this season if someone is interested.

First bear of the season, it weighted 180kg or 396lbs. There were 7 bears on bait.
