FourtyonesixKodiak Brown Bear Spring Hunt
I have one spot open in my 2012 Spring brown bear drawing for the east side of kodiak island. Hunt would be in late april or early may if draw.
Draw odds running right at 20% the last few years. Spring bear success is high, great chance at bears over 9 foot, cause we won't shoot anything smaller, thats what grizzly hunts are for. I'll attach some pics of spring bears.
I do all my own guiding, tent camp, homestyle meals, transporation once in kodiak is included.
drawing fee is 90 dollars once drawn there is a 500$ brown bear tag fee.
Hunt Cost $13,000, shop around....this is a deal.

Aaron NeilsonJake - Nice offer! I've already got a brown bear hunt scheduled for May 10th on the Peninsula, or I would give the drawing a try.
I am very interested in doing that snowmobile - grizzly hunt in 2013, please let me know if that can still be done?

rnoviHaving just finished up a hunt on Kodiak with Jake, I can tell you he is an honest, upstanding guy. Here's a pic of Jake with the Sitka deer I managed to NOT miss!
Just make sure he packs extra Caribou Hot Dogs!
(*And another picture to see all of them fine points!)

Robert

458WinI would also add that that a spring bear hunt on Kodiak is an iconic, world class hunt.
Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

Yeah...we had a bit of a problem with the tent and had to cut it away.
The blade slipped while cutting away the tent resulting in a quick bandaging.
No worries though, Jake had a backup tent standing by and things worked out just fine!

Robert
