MARK H. YOUNGElephant bull for $450 per day NO JOKE
I previously advertised this same area as "THE BEST UNFENCED PLAINS GAME HUNTING I KNOW OF". Mokore Safari additionally has one elephant bull in the same area Coutada 9 in Mozambique that they are allowing me to sell for $450 per day 1x1 15 days plus a $13,000 trophy fee. Expectations should be for a bull of 40-50 lb per side. Of course the catch is that at this point the ivory is not importable to the US but it can be imported to the rest of the world.
To further sweeten the deal a buffalo can also be taken for a $4,000 trophy fee. All plains game including sable will also be available on this hunt.
There are nomadic lions that come and go from the Coutada. If a lion is encountered in can be hunted but if successful daily fees will go to 21 days x $1,500 plus $6,500 trophy fee. The lions that have been shot here in the past have all been monsters.

maybe other countries too I would guess...

MARK H. YOUNGShould have known better than to make any sweeping statements. Let's say that Moz ivory cannot be imported into the US but can be imported into many other countries.

Which is it? Not that one thousand dollars means much.

MARK H. YOUNGDave,
$12,000 is the regular trophy fee. With this extremely discounted deal the trophy fee is a little higher at $13,000. This is inexpensive enough that if your entertaining booking it might be worth leaving the ivory and making fiberglass replicas. When you consider you also can hunt buffalo, sable and all plains game this is a heck of deal.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what does this mean? Bullets brought into the country?

Peter.....Zambia is the same way...only if I recall some clients paid $2 per round/bullet.

MARK H. YOUNGPeter,
That should have read "Ammo tax $1 per round." The person that actually wrote the orignal document is not versed in writing hunting ads. I saw the bullet comment but didn't think it would be confusing. Sorry!

https://www.facebook.com/pages...ures/627027353990716 Thank you gentlemen. From your comments I assume that I would have to pay $1 for each loaded round I brought into the country, is that correct! Can I keep the brass?!!!! Obviously after a $20,000 hunt this is "chump change", but I did not think of myself as a chump before!
Peter..

MARK H. YOUNGPeter,
I guess I don't get the chump comment but yes there is a tax per round of ammo you bring into Mozambique. You can bring home your brass.

https://www.facebook.com/pages...ures/627027353990716 Sorry Mark, the phrase "chump change" is a slang expression:
A trivial sum of money, a trivial matter. For example, Dave was sick of working for chump change; he wanted a decent salary,
I was not calling you a chump.
Peter.
