MARK H. YOUNGIf you were waiting for that late season Buff & Ele safari special...COMBO???
Mokore Safaris still has some quota left for '13 in Sengwa Research. They have decided to further discount and/or shorten the length of the hunts dramatically reducing the overall cost of these hunts.
Sengwa has good game densities and Gary Duckworth says there are lots of buffalo and ele.
Mokore has just built a beautiful brand new East African type camp at Sengwa overlooking the river so everybody should be very comfortable there.
This is an opportunity to hunt with one of the best outfits in Zimbabwe at some very attractive prices.
AR 's own Randy Martin just finshed a non-trophy ele hunt in Sengwa and wrote me "It was outstanding, that was the first brain shot I have taken and it was great to see that bull sit down. The camp is unreal, the work they have done in so short of time. They put hot water bottles in the bed at night to keep you warm. I attached a couple of pics to show you. Everything went smooth. Thanks, Randy" Hopefully he'll do a full report soon.
1x1 10 days trophy ele/PG $750 per day Was $1,500 per day and 15 days
1x1 7 days tuskless/PG $750 per day
1x1 7 days non-trophy bull ele or cow/PG $10,000
NO TROPHY FEE no export
1x1 7 days trophy buffalo/PG $750 per day Was $1,250 per day and 10 days
1X1 5 days non-trophy buffalo $7,500
NO TROPHY FEE no export
THERE ARE A COUPLE OF EACH OF THESE SPECIALS AVAILABLE SO IT WOULD BE EASY TO ARRANGE A MULTI SPECIES HUNT IN ANY COMBINATION YOU MIGHT WANT. HOW ABOUT:
1X1 12 DAYS TUSKLESS/NON-TROPHY BUFF $17250 TO INCL DAILY RATE AND TROPHY FEE. THIS IS ABOUT THE COST OF A GOOD 10 DAY TROPHY BIFFALO HUNT.
OR1X1 10 DAYS (2) NON-TROPHY BUFFALO $15000. Includes daily fees and there is no trophy fee.
These non-trophy hunts are not exportable so there is no dip/pack or trophy shipping saving big bucks on the overall hunt costs.
We can arrange about any date that works for you from now through November.
Additional Trophy fees:
Ele $12,500
Tuskless $4,500
Buff $5,000
Impala $250
Zebra $850
Waterbuck $2,000
Eland $1,500
Kudu $1,750
Baboon $50
Warthog $400
Extras:
Observer $250 per day
Road transfer $500 each way
Charter $1,300 each way
MARS $10 per day per person
Conservation fee $20 per person per day
2% tax on daily fees
4% on trophy fees
Dip/pack dependent on # of animals taken
These are great hunts with an absolutely top notch outfit. Contact me anytime with your questions.

Bama15As Mark said, I just returned from hunting there and had a great time. The camp is beautiful.
Elephant and buffalo and PG are plentiful. I will post a full report in a week or so. This is a outstanding deal.
Just to second what Mark and Randy have written above, Sengwa is a beautiful diverse area. Lots of buff and Ele, the new camp is outstanding as are the operators. Great hunt!

Bama15Mark, I wish I had the money to go again, I would be on the plan tomorrow. If somebody wants to hunt buffalo and bull elephant they are not going to find a better deal with any better people.

MARK H. YOUNGRandy,
Your exactly right and there is plenty of time to get ready for one of these hunts as the very best hunting is still to be had in Oct/Nov. Additionally airfare should be cheaper later in the season.
