Kelly Vrem/Rough and Ready Guide Service that operates in the Wrangells has 2 moose left for '18. Anybody that's hunted Kelly's area knows the genetics in the Wrangells for moose are very good. All my clients there have had an opportunity to take a big moose. Expectations with a little patience should be for a bull in the high 50"-70"+.

The Wrangells are historically famous for some very big Dall sheep and this area has them. Last season they shot 45"+ and a couple years ago 43". My client shot 39" on his way to spike camp.

The area is very remote. You drive to Chitina where Kelly will meet and fly you to base camp. From there you will spike out via horseback for 1.5-4 hours. There is no resident pressure.

I’ll say. Also they don’t have that eastern alaska scoop shape which I can’t stand! Some of the wrangells have those more than others it seems.
