We recently had an opening for a cougar hunt during our prime season dates in early Jan 2016.
This hunt comes fully furnished with two guides working to locate and tree your cougar. We use trucks, snowmobiles, atvs and mules to make your hunt as successful as it can be. We have a large permit area that covers a huge part of western Colorado. This allows us to be picky about what cats we choose to harvest. We try to only harvest mature toms and have a near perfect success rate during our winter hunts.
Lodging on this hunt is private bed and bath at our head quarters. We also stay an occasional night in a remote mountain cabin that contains most of the luxuries of home.
We ask you ave some flexibility in your schedule as these hunts are greatly affected by winter storms. Our contracts guarantee 6 good days of hunting, if weather prevents us from a good day of hunting we do not count that day and will happily extend your stay.

We are based out of western colorado. Our permitting covers a very large area including GMU
411,53 60,61,61,62,64,65 and 70.( basically from grand Junction south towards Cortez than east as far as Crawford Co) We hunt mostly public ground but also have permission to some very productive private ranches as well. Colorado's state wide cougar tags allow us to hunt in any open unit. This gives us a ton of options when locating your cougar. We use two guide on each hunt helping to ensure we get as much area covered as we possible can during the course of your hunt.

Guys I know I am new to this forum.

But I am a very reputable outfitter,guide and ranch owner here in Texas.

I have been on this cat hunt with JT he is a hell of a houndsman he knows his dogs very well.

He gives a 110% the whole time even when Mother Nature gets to bring out on worst conditions.

He strives on high success rate for killing big toms not just a cat.

Gents, just got back home from this hunt. Killed a big, beautiful tom on the fourth morning. Great outfitter, great dogs, beautiful area. Highly recommend. I plan to do it again.
