MARK H. YOUNGBig bulls in Bots 2024 PIC of TODAYS BULL NEW BULL ADDED
I love those bulls with mis matched ivory
Bots ivory at the lip is amazing
This old warrior must have seen some tough going
Today they shot this one. 4 feet out the lip and 1.5 feet in the head.
Memorial day bull. 70#plus. Taken in CH 2
Pix above are all from this April/May.
I've establish a relationship with SV Safaris that hunts CH1 and this year CH2 also. CH 2 has not been hunted until this year since 2013. Who know what SV might find there. BDF has heavily patrolled CH2 in the absence of a safari operator so poaching has been very low. These areas encompass 750,000 acres and border the Chobe and Linyanti floodplains plus the Chobe Park. There are loads of elephant there.
There are people living around the edge of CH1 but CH2 is completely uninhabited.
These areas can be reached easily with a flight to Kasane and a 2 hour drive on good roads to camp.
Camp is the most luxurious I have seen. Check it out
www.svsafaris.com The whole thing is built 4 feet off the ground and the game moves unobstructed under the whole structure.
Expectations for ivory should be 50-60+ with bigger definitely possible.
One of things I like most about this safari is that everything SV provides is truly all inclusive from Kasane to Kasane. The below is the 10 day package at $55,000. A buffalo bull can be added to the elephant hunt at 14 days $70,000 with all the same inclusions below.

Call me and get a big bull this year.

I do love thick ivory. The bull in the second pic must be pushing 20" at the lip, with a short nerve, they can really add some pounds. Mark, with the observer free, you go on the hunt and take me as a side kick.

Fantastic!
So nice to see hunters smiling faces.
Unlike other outfits that shamefully blank them!

MARK H. YOUNGSaeed,
Exactly! The folks in the pix are not the clients but the pix are very nice with smiling faces. I hate the blanked out faces. For me it distracts from the photo to the point it spoils the whole thing. I understand hunter's reluctance to have their faces on a photo that may end up all over the Internet for obvious reasons. On the other hand it is easy to put the crew and/or the PH in the pic with no scrubbing of the faces.
