Tony Lee/Westwind has 2 moose and 2 brown bears available for fall '13. The hunts are in Unit 17 where I lived for 22 years and in Unit 19.
Bear are just abundant with a limit of two per hunter resident or not. Bears will average 8.5'-9'+. Moose are in good numbers with bulls over the last few years averaging 60"+ with someone taking a 70" about every year.

Moose hunts will be scheduled during the rut when the bulls will respond to a call readily. Bears will be on the berries and very visible on the open hillside. Everyone should have one or more shooting opportunities on a big moose and/or a nice brown bear or two.

1x1 10 day brown bear (1) bear $13,000 was $14,500

1x1 15 day (2) brown bear/moose combo available 1-15 or 5-20 Sept $21,500 was $26,500. This one also allows black bear, wolf and wolverine.

Tony has one brown bear hunt left. Hunt can be taken between 20 Aug and 18 Sept '13. Any 8 or 10 day bear hunt can be taken allowing 1 or 2 bears.
