muzzaSo - are there any trophy fees extra to this price or is the quoted price all-inclusive .
What can we expect in terms of trophy size for a rusa stag ?

Ivan CharouxFor the driven hunt, as mentioned, the Trophy fees are included.
For the walk & stalk hunts they are not.
The Mauritiua record for a Rusa stag is 41'' but you could expect up to 34'' easily and even up to 37'' in some areas.

muzzaThanks Ivan.
This is a bit like a visit to the dentist...
How about you list those trophy fees so that potential clients - like myself maybe - can work out what our costs are likely to be. I think if you read the instructions for posting offers in this forum it does state that you must disclose all trophy fees and costs for just that reason.
And maybe also list what other things there are to do on a 10 day hunt/visit if only 2 or 3 days are likely to be expended on the hunts you list. Its a bit vague as originally offered , and I would like to know some more before making any sort of decision. Thanks

Ivan CharouxHi,
Sorry but I am new on this forum and I'm not use to this. The package that I published can of course be modified to suit. I have done it the way it is because usually people like to spend a few days lying on the beach and enjoying the sea while they are here. I would of course be very happy to organise and advise you on any other activities you choose.

cameronaussieDear Ivan
Mauritius is a great place, have enjoyed our trips there.
Alway thought there should have been some hunting there.
Is it a big drama to bring your own rifle?
Hope it works out for you.
Regards Mark

Ivan CharouxHi Mark,
It's really not worth the hassles. It would take you weeks to clear it thru customs. We tried in the past and our authorities being what they are, we decided not to do it anymore. Having said that, we supply our clients with excellent rifles mounted with telescope such as Zeiss, Schmidt & Bendter etc... So really there is no need to worry about the quality of our equipment.
