If you want to hunt buffalo close up and personal, this hunt is for you. If you prefer a tracking buffalo hunt, over spot and stalk hunting, this hunt is for you.

I have 2 buffalo trophy tags left for 1 February to mid May 2024, for this classic tracking hunt, in our Sobbe area in the Caprivi, Namibia.

Expect thick bush and old buffalo bulls, a great camp, and a general great time.

As this hunt is for a very limited time slot that is fast approaching, we are offering this hunt at a discounted price of USD 16,500 per hunt, for a 7 day hunt and including the trophy fee for one buffalo bull and 2 extra travel days if on a 1x1 hunt.
For a 2x1 hunt, I will bump it up to a 10 day hunt at the same price.

Plains game available (at this moment anyway) for an add on, is as follows:
Roan USD 9,000
Sable USD 9,000
Eland USD 3,750
Kudu USD 2,750
Zebra USD 1,500
Warthog USD 500
Blue Wildebeest USD 900

As this area is not on the river, red lechwe, reedbuck, waterbuck and impala are not on quota, but can be added in our other area (Balyerwa). If adding more days to extend the hunt, our plains game rate is USD 650/ day.

Although you can expect occasional thunderstorms during this time period, the weather is generally very pleasant.

I try to do most of the hunts myself, but if we really cannot get a date to work for all, I have a few trusted freelance big game PHs that may do the hunt. Outfitter would be Ndumo Safaris.

To book this hunt would require 30% (USD 4,950) deposit, and rest by 1 February 2024.

Yes, as this area is around 40km from the river, you can get around fairly well. There will be overflowing pans and sometimes you may get stuck in a normal road, but we have always managed.

Karl is very proficient at getting “unstuck” :-)

Two of the buffalo in the photos were taken by me and my son this past June. The Sobbe is a fabulous place to hunt and Karl and his crew are just wonderful to hunt with. Tracking big bulls in the brush is about the most exciting hunting I’ve ever done. We’re planning on going back the year after next.

Great double rifle hunt!

Last time I hunted with Karl, he offered me a double rifle as a loaner. I declined, having never fired one!
