Texas pronghorn season will be opening September 28 and will be running through October 6. We still have a few tags left if anyone is interested here is the Hunt info:

$2500 gets you up to 3 days of all inclusive hunting. The average antelope last season was 77 inches and we had a few in the mid 80's. We have been making the journey to the Texas panhandle for 13 years and have guided over 250 pronghorn. We have room for 1-2 hunters early season and can work anyone in the rest of the week. Act now these tags will fill fast. Also offering the same price for anyone who wants to put a deposit down for 2014. Let me know if you have any questions. Also we can work with people on the price if they wish to provide their own meals and lodging. Dalhart TX is 10 minutes from our base camp with motels and dining options. Call me lets go hunting !!

Has the drought had an impact on the quality or numbers of your herd this season? Last year tags were pretty hard to find based on survey counts. This is a great area and price, this hunt should be filled quickly!

last season they had a new biologist who did the surveys or something like that I believe. They are trying new things and doing new things with the tags up there which I assume will only drive the cost up. With what has happened in west texas to the antelope it hasn't helped the situation either. We haven't seen any impact on our quality or numbers if anything I am seeing more antelope and better antelope every year.

Final reduction of price on these hunts. We have a few early season tags left and can fit anyone in just about any time. We are reducing the price to - $2250 for the fully guided 3 day package all inclusive, and $2000 for the fully guided hunt and you provide your own hotel and meals. Call me if you are interested.
