10 DAY ELEPHANT/ BUFFALO COMBO

Hi folks

I am offering 10 day trophy elephant/ buffalo / plains game hunts in the Omay .
Available dates: March - May 2012

10 days @ $ 1200/ day

elephant $ 12000
buffalo $ 3000
waterbuck $ 1950
zebra $ 1100
kudu $ 1100
bushbuck $ 950
hyena $ 650
impala $ 350
warthog $ 450
klipspringer $ 550
grysbok $ 450

2 % tax on daily rates
2 % tax on trophy fees
dip/ pack $ 650
charters if requested
observers @ $ 250/ day

This seems like a fairly short hunt, what would the expectation on the elephant be. Will it compare to Matetsi ?

The chances of shooting an elephant with heavier ivory is greater in Matetsi, but even then you need to make sure you book at the right time of the year.
In the Omay early season, the chances at an elephant over 40 pounds/ side are high coupled with this, the ivory will tend to be longer than those of Matetsi although not as thick.

The hunt duration is ample for trophy elephant and buffalo.
