I'm readvertising these hunts because they are a genuine great deal for anyone not having access to good antelope country.

OCT 5-7 IS OPEN

The '09 season produced a NET average score for the five hunters booked of 77 6/8 B&C. All five hunters were successful. Two hunters chose to take the first mature pronghorn they got a shot at and tagged out in the first 30 minutes. You can only imagine what they might have done if they had looked around a little. Below are the two best goats one of 81 6/8 B&C and the other 79 B&C. A record book buck is definitely a possibility here.

The hunts are conducted on the Rocking Chair Ranch or adjacent properties. The ranch is about 40 miles from Amirillo where the outfitter will pick you from the airport.

The $1,950.00 price is all inclusive of 3 days fully guided hunting, field care of trophies, food and lodging.

'10 season will 2 Oct-10 Oct. Booking a hunt at the end of the season would allow you to take advantage of the 3 day Columbus Day weekend.

Thats a great deal. Just got one back from the taxidermist that isn't as big and was more expensive to boot.

An out of state big game license runs 300 if my memory is correct.How much is an antelope tag?

You only need the non resident big game license. There is no seperate antelope tag you need to buy.

You must have shot the most unique buck on the ranch as he only has half a head!!!

Seriously thanks for letting me help. We had a great first season on the Rocking Chair and I'm very glad you had a good time. I'll post some overall pix of the season later as more snapshots come in. I think there were a couple of bucks on the middle hunt that broke 80".
Oh! Do you think you could have done a bow hunt there? If I remember that is what we talked about initially.
