Capt. PurvisSouthern Quail and Snow Geese
Two day hunting three night lodging for quail and snow geese. Our Snow Geese hunts take place in fields with around a 1,000 decoys. Quail hunts are with surrogated and release birds. Some wild coveys left but nothing like it was twenty years ago. Season is February and March 2017. We can also add an old fashioned night time racoon hunt with hounds. You will feel like a young Billy Colman with Little Ann and Old Dan as the Redbones run the bottom land hardwoods of the Roanoke River Delta.
Price is $600.00 per hunter. Three hunter minimum.
Hunt is offered by Roanoke River Waterfowl

Capt. PurvisI have had a good amount of interest in this hunt but mostly from single hunters. I can put a make up charter together from other members from this forum if you do not have a group. I can also offer this for my other wing shooting/turkey and fishing charters.

Capt. PurvisBob,
Good to hear from you. We made it out much better than some of our neighbors but crops were ruined. Water was so high that you could not see the tops of the sunflowers in some of the fields that you were hunting. About 1/2 mile from lodge water was eight feet over the top of corn fields. Back of the farm was like an island that was loaded with all types of game including predators. We were able to really work on the coyotes. Currently the guides and I are busy waterfowl hunting everyday and it has been a really good season even though the weather has been inconsistent. Today it is 74 after it was 5 degrees four days ago. Look forward to seeing you.
Regards,
Clark
