Unforgetable HuntingA couple of articulating points for those who wish to become aware of the success probability: In case the hunter does not have the chance to shoot the wolf, such hunter is in the position to choose either for an Eur 2,000 reimbursement or a free voucher in amount of Eur 3,000 valid for the entire 2011, for any hunting species in Romania. Further details are available via email, telephone or PM.
Thank you!

DB BillHi Dina,
Could you describe a typical day's hunting (basically how is the hunt conducted) and is this a hunt for the younger hunter or is it suitable for us older fellows?
Bill George (perhaps a distant cousin from Pennsylvania)

Unforgetable HuntingDear George,
The hunt will unfold following ancient Romanian way, precisely the hunting is performed during the full moon nights of January and February, in small clay and wood cottages located in spots with bait(dead animal carcasses).
One entire day is be dedicated to wild boar hunt and you are able to choose either the driven hunts with local people or still hunting of the wild boars.
Last two days are dedicated to the wolf driven hunts.
Basically, the hunt in fact begins at least one month ahead of your arrival, as we shall be regularly placing bait for the wolfs in the cottages area, thus, when you arrive, they will already be used with the feeding spots.
The hunt does not involve any physical challenge, as the traveling is performed by horse driven slays. We are not using any vehicle or snowmobile for the traveling in the hunting fields, as this type of hunt's roots are deeply berried in the rural ancients hunt style of Romanians and we would not want to spoil the beauty of the landscape and wilderness.
The only condition you would need to meet is to bring very thick and cold proof boots and clothes, as the hunt is performed in unheated cottages, so that the wolfs do not sense any heat which might make them suspicious.
PS: I treat all my clients with the same attention, nevertheless, for cousins I can provide discounts and special programs

CowpuncherHello Dina
Tell us more about your area in Romania, are you in the mountains ? how high are they? is there normally a lot of snow? how cold is it in January and Febuary? things like this.
Thanks

Unforgetable HuntingHunting area is located between 600 meters and 1350 meters over the sea level in the Heart of the Carpathian Mountains. Is mostly hilly and mountainous. Snow in winter is between 50-100 cm thick. Average temperatures for January and February is -15 degrees Celsius, but can reach up to -22 degrees Celsius. (The coldest it is, the better chances for wolf hunting.) We have several accommodation possibilities, one of them is the cottage of Nicolae Ceausescu, former dictator of Romania. I will return with pictures till the end of the week.

Unforgetable HuntingGentlemens,
Although I have some serious applications for this hunt, none of the two places has been reserved. I really need to know which are your concerns because hunting quota for this area is five wolves and if I fail to shoot this animals, next year, the Ministry of Forests does not give me any quota, which will be a real disaster for deer and Wild Boar population in the area.
I can assure you Romania has a unique charm and this trip will be truly memorable for all points of views. Any advice will be more than welcome.
Thank you,
George

do you mean that you would have to hire some locals to hunt those wolves?
I believe that we, the AR members, can help you with this task for free...I mean you will not have to pay us...

GunsCoreMy wife just informed me that Romanian women are quite beautiful and she will not allow me to go for the wolf or the women. Somebody is going to have some fun.
STAY IN THE FIGHT!
