Folks, when you consider all of the African hunting options out there now - Burkina Faso is not only offering some fantastic hunting, but doing so at really good prices (Euro to the Dollar has never been better)!!! A very unique place, with excellent hunting and a PH who I have not only hunted with before, but is a great guy!
The 80,000 hectares (165,000 acres) hunting block is on the Benin border (East) next to Arly National park. The closest "city" is Pama. The PH is very experienced, English speaking and a very good friend of Aaron Neilson / Global Hunting Resources.

Dates:
Best time is December - February, beginning of March.
Camp is 5 hours by vehicle on tar road.
Schedule:
Arriving late afternoon and first night in Ouagadougou (very nice small hotel: 3 rooms only!). Transfert to camp the next morning, lunch, check rifles, and game drive in the afternoon. Total: 6, 8 or 10 full hunting days. Transfer back to Ouaga and fly out the same day

MJinesBurkina is a great adventure and there is no better bargain in African hunting today. I encourage folks to check Burkina Faso out, particularly given the strength of the dollar today.

Steve AhrenbergAll I will say is, if you do a hunt with Francois, you won't get to eat much. He had me laughing so hard at dinner, I couldn't eat.
