What is the seemingly preferred travel airline to get to Windhoek from USA?

Although I’ve never hunted with Johann and his Shona outfit, I’ve hunted with his next door neighbor Jan du Plessis six times and we’ve shot and hung Leopard baits for him.I’ve met him in person and he’s a top notch PH and an all around good guy.

I have been looking for a July trip.
Most direct routes depending on where you are would be United from either Dulles to Capetown then Windhoek or Newark to Windhoek (approx 20 hour itineraries depending on your start point)
Or other routes through Germany but take about 10 hours longer
