We are offering the following package as a stand alone package for a Hippo Bull. This is if you have already taken Cape Buffalo, or not interested in the Hippo/Buffalo Package we are currently offering. This is truly a great area for free roaming Hippo.

The offer includes the following:
8 Nights with 7 Full hunting Days for 1 hunter, including the following trophy animals:

1x Hippo Bull $5200

Day Fees: $2800

Total: $8000

The following are included in your Safari:
All accommodation, food and beverages for the duration of the Safari
Services of a licensed professional hunter, tracker and ground staff
Transport to and from the airport as well as all ground transport for the duration of the Safari
Field preparation of trophies and forwarding them to a taxidermist or shipping agent of your choice.
14% Government Tax on day rates.
Hunting License.

The following are excluded in your Safari:
Dipping, packaging or any processing of trophies
Shipping charges for your trophies to your own country.
All flights
Accommodation before and after your safari dates.

Yes Louis. In the light of the recent ban on Hippo hunts in Limpopo that was lifted, can you please also list who the Dangerous Game Outfitter and PH will be as well as the exemption number of the property. We were informed NO free range Hippo was to be hunted in Limpopo. It caused quite a row in our world up there so would just like some clarification.With many thanks!

Marius....Charl. I'm Marius

My apologies for the confusion. Just a small technicality, which was my own mistake. My initial post included a Cape Buffalo hunt, which was followed by a post for a Cape Buffalo/Hippo Combo hunt, which was followed by this stand alone hunt. The mistake was more a copy and paste error. The error was duplicated. The Cape Buffalo is in the Limpopo, but we then travel to Mpumalanga for the Hippo.

The Hippo are hunted along about 24km(15 Miles) of the Crocodile river, which runs through numerous properties.

I am more than willing to post the Mpumalanga Outfitter and PH numbers, as well as photos of the successful hunts, should anybody require me to do so.

No worries Marius.......The Dave things was a joke....

Any case Jasper and Robby being to two blokes offering those hunts down there are good blokes. No need to post any of that. Our clients trust us in any case. Just wanted to straighten this out. Sorry if it sounded tongue in the cheek....it was not the intention.

I just know the only Hippo allowed on Limpopo are on Reserves/Ranches. I sit on the EXECUTIVE of the LHLF and there was a BIG row earlier this year when they refused to issue us quota to market because some dodgy Outfitter shot Hippo's in the rivers but logged them as shot on Reserves.......

Wanted to make sure no one steps in it.....You boys down there have NO idea how much we are regulated up here now!
