ForrestBScott, your wife is very nice and very pretty; I'd hold out for a brown bear hunt at a minimum.

twoseventyScott, on a serious note, have you considered a DYI hunt? We did that once and it was a fun adventure. All you need is a good low profile tent, sleeping bag and groceries. Just hire a guy with a Beaver or 206 on floats. He will fly you out and you can scout for critters and decide where to camp. Most will even do a mid-hunt check for safety and/or meat haul for a small additional fee. They are out flying most days anyway. Just a thought that came to me after the silly reply.

2kuduhunterYa, it was a fun adventure!! We arrived in Anchorage 9/11 just as they blew up the towers. Jet fighters and awac's screaming out of Elmondorf to shut down all the airspace for 2 and a half days. We used "trail ridge air" when they opened up the airspace to get out to camp. All the guy's that had been waiting to get picked for 2 days with no communication were kind of "moody" not knowing if their ride out was ever coming!! But Tom and I had a good hunt anyway! Joe Oh forgot- make sure your tent can handle 50 knot winds!!

Wendell ReichYou might consider holding on to her. It is rare to find a girl who likes to hunt and fish. Plus she outfished me on the Snake River that day, so that says something.
I'd take her, but I already have one.
