MARK H. YOUNGLEOPARD/BUFF COMBO at '96 Prices in Zim
In '96 I booked a leopard/buffalo combo with Mokore Safaris and paid $650 per day. I can offer today that same combo at $650 per day. So what's the catch? Well! The hunt is not offered in Chewore South but on the Sondelani Ranch.
Gary Hopkins is offering the hunt and tells me there are two Toms using Sondelani and one is a monster. There are good early season dark of moon dates available. It might be very interesting to be the first hunter of the year and take a crack at the big boy.
There is also a self sustaining herd of about 300 buffalo on Sondelani. Hunting can be challenging as some of the cover on Sondelani is very thick. Early season last year Gary and the client stopped a determined charge close up and personal.
Accommodations are very comfortable with private Chalets with en suite bath.
