I just got a cancellation today from a hunter I was really looking forward to meeting.
This hunt was not your usual hunt but a family vacation in a log cabin and a white Christmas.

This hunt was scheduled from Dec 20 to Jan 2, hunting everyday but Christmas.

A usual ten day Cougar, lynx , wolf hunt is
$10 000.00 plus tax. SOLD

This has opportunity to hunt 13 days if the dates stay the same.

You and your family will join our family for Christmas day.

This is a little bit out of the ordinary so discussions on how many people will be coming and which will hunt needs to be discussed.

The base price is $10000.00 plus $500/day for the extra 3 days.
The observer rate is $150/day per person.

License is $189
Cougar tag is $241.50
Lynx tag is $42.00
wolf tag is $52.50
NRHPF is $200 for each person hunting.

Included in the price is:
pick up and drop off at Williams lake BC
trophy field prep
government inspections

Not included is:
shipping
taxidermist fees
cities permits
alcohol.

Does the base price include the cabin rental? Does each family member pay an observer fee?

yes $150/person is the observer rate.

Cabin is included in the price.

I have had the privilege of hunting with Doug twice. His family is warm and inviting and his wife is a fantastic cook. If you can do this I can promise you it will be a wonderful experience for you and your family. There is not a more scenic spot to spend Christmas on earth, IMHO. Plus, you get a shot at a huge tom. What a deal.

what other activities are available in the area for family.....3 sons 16, 14, 10. I know that my wife and sons would not want to cat hunt for 13 days..

sledding, ice skating, we may even be able to dig out some cross country skis.

Any ice fishing in the area??
