Kelly Vrem owner of the Rough and Ready Guide Service is one of the most respected guides in Alaska, has hunted the Peninsula since '74 and has runs Rough and Ready since'77. Kelly has one opening in Unit 9 on the Peninsula for the fall brown bear season. Dates are 2-10 Oct '13. Kelly picks you up in his own plane in King Salmon on 1 Oct, flies you to camp and flies you back to King Salmon at hunt's end.

Accomodations are in Bomb Shelter tents. Food is a mixture of fresh and frozen homemade boil in a bag meals.

On this hunt you will see bears everyday but not loads of sows and cubs. Most will be lone mature bears and 9' is a reasonable expectation.
