The Pia Manzi concession is some 15,000 unfenced hectares of pristine Kafue that adjoins Royal Kafue and the famous Mushingashi private reserve. It borders the Kafue river and has never been safari hunted. This will be the first year of operation having been intensely managed for the last three years. It is big game country and both Elephant and Lion are frequent camp visitors.

The picturesque camp (photos to follow) is very comfortable and can offer all the amenities one requires on safari. The accommodation is newly tented with bathrooms en suite. The dining area and bar overlooks a hippo pool and the remote Lunga Luswishi concession.

Safari packages :

14 Day Leopard/Sable/Buffalo safari with options on Roan and all other Kafue species available.

All inclusive of vehicle transfers, dip & pack, meet & greet, Government fees and taxes, hunting permits etc
Share this hunt as a hunting observer for an additional $500 a day.

Does not include trophy fees or accommodation outside of the safari.

Note at the moment Adam Buske has very limited access to email and is living in the bush. Initially all enquiries can be directed at me until further notice. One of his camps does have cell phone connection.

I'm a bit confused. When I google 'Pia Manzi Zambia' an reserve of the same size comes up but it borders the Luangwa? Two reserves of the same name? Might be confusing.

On another note, the lechwe in that area is the red lechwe, or did they introduce Kafue lechwe?

Indeed the two areas share the same name.

Kafue lechwe would be an add on.

This is a special area.
When I hunted with Andrew at Royal Kafue we travelled through Pia Manzi (it is contiguous) to go to Mushingashi and there was little to discern it from Royal Kafue. Same country , same game.
To be amongst the first to hunt this area would be a great chance to secure some fine trophies.
I met Adam and he is a good guy and I wish him luck.

Glad to hear Adam got his hunts booked so quickly, Andrew. I'm assuming that was Adam's Dad Diane & I met when we hunted with you. It's a beautiful, game-rich area and will be a treat for anyone hunting there.

The north Kafue is home to some seriously large cats, And just imagine an environment that has never been hunted.

My advice would be get someone to share the hunt.
