Eland SlayerSummer Axis Deer Hunts
I have a couple great options for trophy Axis Deer hunts this summer. Our area of Southeast Texas has gotten a lot of rain in January in February this year, which will make for some VERY nice Axis bucks coming out of velvet May through July.
Both of these properties will produce trophies in the 30" to 35" range (beam length).
Option #1These hunts take place on a large ranch near College Station, TX with outstanding accommodations.
2 day/2 night "All-Inclusive" package (meals, lodging, guide, trophy fee) -
$2,650 per hunter"Day Hunt" -
$2,350 per hunterThis is a great ranch to bring a group of clients or friends to. It is only about an hour drive from Houston (ranch is actually approx. 30 miles east of College Station).
Option #2These hunts take place on a smaller ranch near Gonzales, TX with an older house used for lodging (still clean and comfortable).
3 day/3 night package (lodging, guide, trophy fee.....NO MEALS) -
$2,150 per hunter****group of 2 or 3 hunters on this ranch will receive a price of $2,000 per hunter and the hunt will be extended to 4 days/4 nights. Meals will be the hunters' responsibility.50% deposit required on all hunts to reserve your dates.

Eland SlayerIf you are at all interested in doing an Axis hunt, this is the year to do it. Approximately 70% of Axis bucks come into hard antler in May/June....which means their growing season is December-April.
With the tremendous amount of rain we have had lately, we expect this to be one of best years for Axis in a long time....as far as trophy quality is concerned. There is no sliding scale on these hunts, so you have a chance of shooting a real monster at a fair price.

Eland SlayerTed,
Yes....we have 2 day/2 night all-inclusive (meals, lodging, game care) hog hunts for $600 per hunter ($500 per hunter for groups of 5 or more).
Exotic does may also be added for $300 each. Hunt takes place in the Texas Hill Country.
