Argentina Birds on Sale!
Here's a very special price on a hunt in Santiago Del Estero, a short commercial flight from Buenos Aires. This area is unique in that it offers excellent dove, pigeon, duck and partridge hunting in the farming region along the Rio Dulce, as well as big game hunting two hours away in the thorn brush/salt pans.

Per hunter, per day, min 4 guns, 10% discount for 6 plus guns.

Doves $190/day no limit no season
Pigeons $240/day no limit no season
Duck and partridge $350 15/day and 10/day 2 days per license, from 5/1 through 8/15

Additional charges:

Shotgun rental if needed $50/day
Ammo $12/box
Hunting license $250
"Secretaries" $20/day
Translator if needed $50/day per group.
Air travel to SDE
Firearms permit upon arrival circa $60 payable to customs.

Big game add-ons are available, from a private camp two hours from the dove fields. All the normal exotic species are available any time of the year, as well as "Puma", however the latter are not exportable and the season is 5/1-8/15.

We are agents for "San Uberto", the operator.

This says that pumas can ONLY be hunted in case of agricultural damage and only after an official report informing about a problem animal has been submited to the authorities...

Also says that the hunting season closes in exactly 30 days (2th of August)

I very much doubt you can only hunt birds on weekends, having hunted them myself every day of the week in SDE ... but I will confirm that with the operator.

His answer

"estimado amigo Russ:

According to Google that means
"dear friend Russ:

fauna if our address says you can not hunt on avilés but that is not for foreigners hunting license allows 6 consecutive days.
from already very grateful
Hector hug"

Accommodation, food and moderate alcohol is included in the daily rate.

I thought that must be a special regulation for foreign hunters when shooting birds as in Cordoba province the law is very similar. What a strange thing !!

I posted the law because of the puma issue, not only for hunters but also for you, ALWAYS be careful when someone offers you PUMA hunting...
