One of our New Mexico Outfitters (Jay Platt) has an opening in August for a black bear hunt at an attractive price. This hunt takes place about an hour and a half south west of Albuquerque, New Mexico on a mix of public and private land. Hunters need to arrive Albuquerque and either rent a car or arrange pickup at the airport. Hunts are conducted using a mixture of spot and stalk and hounds, though over the past few years the majority of the bears were killed using hounds.

Lodging is in a very comfortable home right on the ranch.

The hunt cost is $3,950, which includes all licenses, tags and NM state sales tax.
