reddy375Brown Bear - Kamchatka, Russia Spring 2011
Folks we have two brown bear hunts planned for Spring 2011 in Kamchatka Russia.
On these hunts, hunters can expect a solid 9' bear on average, with many larger bears taken each season.
Price is 6,500 euros which include all travel, food, lodging, guide, etc. from Petropavlovsk.
trophy fee on 1st bear 3,000 euros
trophy fee on 2nd bear 4,500 euros
cost of cites tag 250 euros
Additional costs - hotel stay in Petropavlovsk on return journey. Cost of shipping trophy (hide and skull) back as extra luggage.
Dates:
Group 1: Arrive Moscow 23rd April, return Moscow 7th May
Group 2: Arrive Moscow 3rd May, return Moscow 17th May
Detailed itinerary will be provided at the time of booking, but general plan is fly into Moscow where you will be met and clear your rifles. You will then catch the onward direct 9 hour flight to Petropavlovsk situated on the Kamchatka Pennisula. On arrival in Petropavlovsk you will be met by your outfitter and drive 8 hours to Esso. From Esso fly into camp by helicopter. Depending upon your camp location the flight could be around 1 hour +. On average 2-3 hunters will be dropped off at a camp and hunt 1x1 with their own guide. The hunter will ride on a sled pulled by their guide's snow machine, until the bear/tracks are spotted and the stalk is then planned.

reddy375If anyone is seriously considering this hunt. I will be happy to put them in touch with a good airline travel agent who can schedule their flights, arrange their visas, etc.

TMTAXIDERMYThe best I can remember from my trip last spring, the airfare from Little rock, Ar to Petro was about $1200. went to Chicago, to Frankfurt to Moscow to Petro. total of 46 hours in air or in airport waiting. Arrived in Petro and immediatly went on 8 hour trip into the camp on snow machines.
