If anybody would like to make a last-minute trip to South Dakota to chase turkeys give me a shout. 22,000 acres of private land in the northwest corner of the state in Harding County by the town of Buffalo and Camp Crook. Leftover shotgun licenses are available and archery licenses are guaranteed. $100 is the cost of the license and it is good for two birds. Now why can't I find a reasonable turkey hunt price like this in Texas or New Mexico?
