reddy375BULGARIA COMBO HUNT
After my recent trip to Bulgaria. Read all about it here
http://forums.accuratereloadin...8321043/m/2821068632 Working with the outfitter in Bulgaria we have come up with a couple of fun hunt packages. Let me start off by saying in Bulgaria you pay based on the trophy and the size. That's a government thing, not an outfitter scam! So these packages will include the following:
Package A - 10 days €10,900 - about $13,300
Package B - 8 days €9,500 - $ 11,600
Red stag - up to 9 kilos, which is a real nice stag, not those runts they shoot in Scotland!
Fallow deer up to 3.5 kilos
Mouflon - up to 75cms
Wild boar - up to 22cms
Roe deer - any size
INCLUDES
all papers /gun import, Trophy export etc./
meeting at the airport
accommodation in single rooms
full board incl. non alcoholic beverage
hunting guide 1:1
all transports in the hunting area
all transports from/back airport and between different hunting areas
Bulgarian hunting license
Interpreter services
Field preparation and valuation of the trophies
DOES NOT INCLUDE
Alcohol, tips and local taxidermy charges to prepare the trophy for export
GETTING THERE: A great route to fly is from the States to Istanbul, and a short layover and then on to Sofia or Varna where you will be met.
Bulgaria is a perfect destination for non hunters as well and you wife or girlfriend will enjoy herself. Some of the lodges have spa facilities etc as well. I strongly advise a few extra days in Sofia before or after your hunt as it is a neat city worth seeing.
Depending upon the seasons, we can tailor make any combo or single species hunt that you wish so feel free to enquire. These are not fixed in stone either meaning you can add extra species even when you are there, so long as you decide what you want to do before you squeeze the trigger ! You definitely don't want to shoot a 19 kilo red stag by accident

. Now that would like nice in your castle. I saw three such magnificent trophies shot by a wealthy client 100k++
Species available:
Red stag
Mouflon
Roe
Balkan Chamois
Wolf
Fallow deer
Capercaillie
Thanks for looking.

D R HunterRegarding "nine kilos" for the Red Stag, that's
the weight of the antlers?

Big Wonderful WyomingThat is a savings of about 4000 euros. Nice package.
D R Hunter, many places in Europe measure deer trophies by weight of the skull and antlers. After boiling and drying for 24 hours.
It is probably a more fair method than using CIC or SCI score.

Big Wonderful WyomingAnd 9 kilos is generally a silver or gold medal in SCI or CIC. But not always, it is a big head.
A 3.5 kg fallow is a huge one.
a 65 cm mouflon is a trophy not necessarily a hug one it generally takes 85-100 cm to be huge.
22 cm wild boar is huge, probably a 400 pound plus pig.

reddy375Its only money but you can shoot some really big trophies in Bulgaria! I saw three 19kg red stag heads at the taxidermist. Big $$$$.
These are proper wild stags not the artificially bred stags from NZ.

Arjun,
a 19kgs red deer is not a wild red deer without genetic and food help ...

reddy375Thats what the local taxidermist told me and I wondered myself, but i can assure there are plenty of 12-14 kilo wild stags around.

PoyntmanIt’s hard for most of us to translate these into equivalents we understand.
Thanks BWW for some above translation.
I would not be a happy camper if I had a translation issue and shot maybe a 360
Stag and got hammered.
Looks like a very good package hunt to shoot some beautiful animals

jaegerfrankYou must mix something up, there are definitely no 19kg red stags, sorry. Even 12-14kg are an exception to find in a non fenced area. Beside that, age matters on a red stag, weiht is an add on.

reddy375Look its hunting but why dont you book a hunt and we will find you a 12-14 kilo red stag in a WILD area

It is the guides responsibility to tell you which stag to shoot and they are allowed a small margin of error which will be stipulated in your Hunt Contract. You can refuse the animal if it is beyond that margin on the higher or lower end as well.
