We can offer a 12 full hunting days, 1x1 Lord Derby Eland OR Bongo hunt for 2012 at 13.500 euros - aprx $18,000 (daily rate). On this hunt you can also shoot two buffalo and other CAR game.
Season runs Jan-May.
You can also shoot any of the other MAIN animals in CAR - Lion, Leopard (not importable into the states), LD Eland, Sitatunga and Bongo for an upgrade of 5.000 euros + trophy fees.
Daily rates include:- Welcome and ground assistance in Bangui
- Full board accommodation in the hunting area
- Professional Hunter, and his team
- Big game hunting license 750 Euros/hunter
- Field preparation of trophies
- Gun license
Daily rates do not include: - International flights from Europe to Bangui (CAR capital)
- Chartered planes Bangui / Hunting area / Bangui (Aprx 2,500 euro round trip per person)
- Packing and transport of your trophies to Bangui, including all veterinary services and customs formalities (750 Euros)
- Freight cost of trophies to country of destination will be invoiced to you by the freight forwarder
- Hotel and meals in Bangui
- Personal expenses
- Tips - Budget around 500 Euros for the trackers and staff. PH at your discretion

Lelwel hartbeest (Bubale) 500 Euros
Harnassed Bushbuck 500 Euros
Western Kob 300 Euros
Red river hog = western Bushpig (Potamochère) 500 Euros
Oribi 200 Euros
Red flanked, Blue, and western Bush Duikers 200 Euros each
Baboon (Cynocephal) 100 Euros
Above trophy fees include government fees and 20 % taxes for wildlife protection.
(*) Hunting Leopard requires a special license costing 600 Euros which is payable in advance and allows the bearer to hunt one leopard. This is in addition to the trophy fees.
Two euros tax is payable on departure at the airport on every cartridge that has been imported into the country and fired.
Observer daily rate 2400 euros
I do not have any references of American hunters who have done this hunt.

With the further decline of the Euro this hunt at todays xchange rate is now $17,500 daily rate. Furthermore Renaud is willing to offer a 3,500 euro refund if you do not see a shooter bull.

Mike SmithSounds like a smokin deal who is the outfitter and ph and what is the specific area being hunted? I have 2 friends who might be interested but they will want those specifics for sure. Too damn bad my health wont allow me to do this right now or I would be all over it.
