Late season buffalo hunts still available Mahimba Mozambique.

We have just acquired the rights to the Mahimba hunting concession in Mozambique. As many of you know it has a very good reputation of producing some good quality buffalo.

10 day buffalo hunt US$ 10 000
10 day buffalo plus crocodile US$ 12 000
10 day buffalo plus crocodile plus sable US$ 14 000

EXTRAS:
Hunting card US$ 350
Rifle licence US$ 350
Trophy handling fees US$ 300 per animal
Export of trophy for clients own account

What are the trophy/license fees for the buffalo, croc and sable?

What other plains game might be available and their respective trophy/license fee?

Any birding or fishing?

How much for RT transfer to the hunting camp and from where?

Trophy fee for crocodile: US$ 4300
Trophy fee for sable: US$ 4700

Road and boat transport included in package from Quelimane.

Does the same apply for the combination hunts, i.e. is the trophy fee for both Buff and Croc included in the quoted price ? If so then it is a darned good deal.

What is/was your relationship to Moz. Unlimited Safaris?

They are package hunts so nothing will be refunded but there is a 99% chance of you getting all your animals. ( No guarantees in hunting)

I had shares in Moz Unlimited Safaris but sold them last year. I no longer have anything to do with them.

Sounds like a really good price. Where would I fly into? If my wife came along, how much would you charge for her? Do you rent rifles or let a hunter borrow one?

You will fly into Quelimane. We pick you up there. USA to Johannesburg to Maputo to Quelimane. We then go by Ferry then by boat and cruiser to the camp.

It sounds like great deal. I understand the rifle import fee into Moz. Recently increased to $1000
Are you sure it is $350??
Reason I ask is I always take 2 rifles when big game hunting , my double and a bolt action.
Do you have a web site showing the concession area and photos of the camp etc.
Nothing showing on the web site you posted on Moz.

Nick, the concession owner told us it was still 350 but I will double check on that. I don't t have a site showing the camp an daccommodations yet but can e-mail you some pics.
