Angus MorrisonGood question, it's a contribution charged per hunter in support of the Guide Outfitter's Association of British Columbia. The GOABC is instrumental to keeping hunting for non-residents (and as a byproduct residents) alive in our current and very challenging political climate in British Columbia. That is to say the GOABC fights the misinformed and out of touch Cecil type crowd on a daily basis to keep hunting alive, unfortunately they outnumber us here in BC quite extravagantly.
